During the ceremony, Mr. Brooks Washington, Founder of Roha Group and CEO of Roha Medical Campus PLC said, “The private sector can play a major part in enhancing Ethiopia’s health sector by providing high quality and affordable health services for the country and we are excited to play a leading role in that effort. Roha Medical Campus will create an Ethiopian hub for medical tourism, working with Ethiopian Airlines and local hotels to create travel packages specifically for patients. This will contribute to reversing outbound medical tourism and attracting patients from across the region for care at our first-class facilities.”
He further stated that “We are grateful for this opportunity to contribute to Ethiopia’s healthcare development. The Addis Ababa City Administration and Ministry of Health have been very supportive, and we look forward to continuing to work with them to realize this exciting project.”
